UPDATE ON COVID-19

APRIL 2: UPDATE ON COVID-19 AND ACCESS TO SERVICES:

• Our office is currently closed to the public in accordance with Orders issued by Kenton County.  Please visit www.kentoncounty.org for more information about closure and other county agencies.

• In conjunction with the orders issued by the Kentucky Supreme Court, all Pre-Trial, Bench Trial, and Jury Trial dockets scheduled in Kenton County District Court between March 16, 2020 and May 1, 2020 have been CANCELLED and will be rescheduled.  Please go to https://kycourts.gov/ for the most up to date information.

• Entrance to the Kenton County Justice Center is now restricted.  Please see  Order https://www.nkybar.com/resources/NOTICE%20for%20entrance%20to%20the%20Kenton%20County%20Courthouse.pdf

• If you are seeking an EPO or IPO – you can still file at the Justice Center located at 230 Madison Avenue in Covington.  Please see a bailiff for entrance.

• If you are seeking information on a county tax bill, please email taxpayoff@kentoncoatty.com for assistance.

• If you have received postcard about the County Attorney Traffic Safety Program and wish to enroll, please email dedmondson@kentoncoatty.com

• All regular GUARDIANSHIP cases have been cancelled through May 1, 2020, and will be rescheduled at a later date.

• For emergency guardianships, Casey’s Law, and mental health involuntary hospitalizations please call the office at 859-491-0600 or contact us by filling out the contact us form available online at www.kentoncoatty.com  

• Child support has suspended pre-trial conferences, in-house appointments, and paternity testing.  Please contact the office at 859-491-4114.  Child support dockets between March 16, 2020 and May 1, 2020 are currently CANCELLED and will be re-scheduled at a later date.  The Kentucky Child Support website can be accessed at http://csws.chfs.ky.gov/csws/.  

• You will need a personal identification number to get started (PIN). Please contact the child support office at (859)491-4114 and your PIN number will be mailed to you.  You can also obtain you PIN number by visiting the child support office with your photo ID.  Please note that your PIN number is not the same thing as your case (IV-D number).  The PIN number is a unique to you and you alone.
